The following projects continue lines of researches presented and cofinanced in occasion of previous applications (1997-1999; 1999-2001).
A) Line 1. Identification of the molecular mechanisms responsible of the modulatory effects of IL-10 on human neutrophils. A) Line 2. Role of SOCS-3 in mediating the biological effects of IL-10. A, line 3. Gene expression in professional phagocytes. B. The purpose of the investigation proposed in this project is to clarify the mechanisms of neuronal damage by amyloidogenic proteins.
B, line 1. Identification of the neuronal receptor interacting with Abeta and of the mechanisms the direct neuronal damage
2. Direct and inflammatory mechanisms of neuronal damage by prion proteins.
